Finally a time to do a proper blog! I have the proper tools for my knitting task. On my list it says crochet but I should change that to knit.

I have six music recommendations so far: All Time Low, Lights, Little Boots, Owl City, Paolo Nutini, and The Kooks.

I also thought about the 10 things I dislike that I must try to change:

1. Final Fantasy (I will play Final Fantasy 7)
2. Chick Flicks (I would read Confessions of a Shopaholic)
3. Sci-Fi (I am still thinking of what book to read.. this might change)
4. Cleaning (I will attempt to keep my room neat.. somehow)
5. Waking up early (I made a goal that if I actually sleep early, I would wake up at 7 AM most of the time)
6. Salad and most American foods (I am not picky but I want to get used to it more.. if ever)
7. Math (I will say what I think until I reached Calculus haha!)
8. Bands (with the typical guitar, base, drums, and vocalist.. I decided to attend a Warped Tour (?) event or something)
9. Clubbing (I know who will go with on this one, lets see..)
10. ????

Why is it so hard.. I guess it is because that for the most part, I am a content person.

I need to focus on my 101th thing.. Sometimes I forget to write down things. I also need to become more optimistic.. I am trying, really.

27. I began thinking about the 10 things I dislike.

1. Math - I decided to pursue up to Calculus (not kidding.. in Community College) and see how I would fare.
2. Final Fantasy - A friend of mine recommended Final Fantasy 7. I might ask my sister to buy it for me for PSP.
3. Chick Flicks - I got recommended the "Confessions of a Shopaholic." I admit to reading Gossip Girl, somewhat liked it but I never picked up another chick flick again. I might actually learn something from the lives of the characters in books like this.

This was so hard. I only thought of three at the moment.

68. I got two recommendations. Rhealyn recommended me Paolo Nutini, a singer from the UK. Yvette recommended me Little Boots who is also from the UK. I find it interesting because when I was young, most of the music I listened to were from the UK. Westlife being my favorite.

Now it starts!

After about a month of planning, the 101 things to do in 1001 days project is finally in progress. Basically this blog will help me keep track of things and record the happenings so I can share it with other people. I do not mean to inspire, but it might make people want to start their own lists too. It is nice having something to look forward to.

I have not accomplished anything but I did start on:

43. Participate in Nanowrimo and achieve it at least once.
In fact, I actually started my story yesterday and reached about 1100 so far. I have two more Novembers to try but it would be cool if I achieved it this year.. Though with Senior portfolios and homework, it seems unlikely. Though in my list, I must participate and achieve it at least once. I will participate on all years though.

88. Send 150 letters or cards by mail
Today I sent two letters for a local friend and my pen pal Caroline from Australia. That leaves me with 148 letters or cards to send.

101. Have a small notebook and list down any good moment, life lesson, and good phrases that I will come across throughout this 1001 days.
My father's lectures, no matter how annoying they can get, is something that I really value. I always feel fortunate to have a parent to lecture me like this and really, no matter how stubborn us children can get, most of the time, they are right. Today my father lectured me about not abusing my body because I am. I stay up late, kill my eye sight (and brain cells), and I do not eat properly. Therefore I plan to not stay on today and I will try to keep it up. I know that it is impossible for me so I will make sure that I wont make using the computer and staying up late a daily routine.

The next few days seem very promising. We will see. :)
